Elevate Your Wildlife Photography

• Learn how to be in the right place at the right time with the right tools to create wildlife images that stand out in a crowd.

• Learn what it takes to go beyond the memory shot and capture wildlife images that are technically sound and creatively beautiful.

• We will cover equipment, safety, composition, proper exposure, animal behavior, how to find your subject, and the artistry of wildlife photography.

BIO

Karen Doody began her professional photography career in 2000 working as an underwater photographer in Mexico. Her underwater images have been published in dive magazines and featured in advertising campaigns worldwide. In 2010 the desire to create beautiful images led her back to North Carolina where her business, Karen Doody Photography, specializes in weddings.

In 2019, she created The Wild Doody,her wildlife and nature photography brand to weave together her longtime passion for wildlife photography, travel and workshop education. Her goal is to share her experience in the field photographing wildlife and landscapes that go beyond the “got ya shots” and capture images that tell a story and create awe in the viewer.

She earned her Master of Photography, Master of Wedding Photography and Photographic Craftsman through Professional Photographers of America. She is also a member of the American Society of Photographers, The Carolinas Nature Photographers Association and Professional Photographers of North Carolina.
